Hey there! Thanks for joining me on The Wild Side. My name is Cheyene, but I go by Chey (“Shy”) for short. My passion is capturing love stories for adventurous lovers and making people who have never liked photos of themselves feel completely at ease in front of my lens. That being said, there’s so much more to me than what you see when I have a camera in my hand, so I wanted to share a little bit about myself (your future microwedding / elopement photographer) and introduce myself to anyone that’s new here.
Hobbies: Reading all the romance novels and smutty books I can get my hands on, hiking and camping in the breathtaking rocky mountains, watching superhero shows, and traveling the world with the love of my life.
Coffee Order: At Starbucks? A caramel frappuccino with two extra shots of espresso. Anywhere else? Chai tea or iced matcha (both with almond milk because your girl is lactose intolerant).
My heart is full because of: My husband and three fur babies, and wildflowers.
Non-photography related talents: sarcasm, terrible jokes that make you laugh anyways, making you feel so incredibly loved even though we just met, and ADHD superpowers that allow me to orchestrate calm in the chaos of any situation.
Other ways I serve: I’m currently a law enforcement officer in Colorado, a soldier in the Colorado Army National Guard, and I do my very best to provide a safe space for all bipoc and queer people, nearlyweds/newlyweds and couples in general.
Bucket list destinations: Los Cabos, Cabo San Lucas, Tulum, Ireland, Scotland, Iceland, Thailand, Italy, Alaska, Yosemite, Grand Tetons, Glacier National Park, Banff National Park
