You bring the love. I’ll bring the snacks, the camera, and the dad jokes.
Hey there! I’m Chey (pronounced "shy"), a recovering wedding industry cynic turned micro wedding and elopement photographer. My journey into the world of happy tears, and intimate “I do’s” began when I realized weddings don’t have to be big, stressful productions. They don’t have to follow traditions that don’t feel meaningful to you. And they definitely don’t have to end with photos that feel like someone else’s memories because you came down with wedding day blackout. I jumped into the wedding industry with the goal of stripping away the pressure and bringing the focus back to what truly matters—your love, your story, and photos that remind you of how you felt in the moment - rather than fake smiles and staged memories.
We eloped at the courthouse, and about a year later, we made a whole weekend out of it—saying our vows in front of thirty or so of our favorite people. We laughed, played cards and yard games, and soaked in every second with our loved ones. And let me tell you—our faces hurt from smiling so much. And to top it all off, we got to hire the perfect photographer that left us in tears when we got our photos back.
"Ditch the rules!" "Celebrate the way you want, not the way your mom's cousin wants you to." - Easy for a wedding vendor to say, I know. So, how the fuck am I actually qualified to tell you to ditch the rules, say “screw it,” pick the traditions that matter, cut down that guest list, and do your wedding your way?
My hubby and I didn’t have the budget to invite my entire massive family, and some of the traditions everyone expected us to follow just didn’t feel right. So, we did what made sense for us.
Let's do this!!
If you’ve been dreaming of booking a photographer that will capture the real, unfiltered magic of your day—the deep belly laughs, the happy tears, the wind in your hair as the crazy Colorado weather helps to turn your photos into absolute magic, a photographer that places the focus on creating a space where you can be you without interrupting genuine moments to stick to a schedule or force a shot, you’ve come to the right place.
If it rains on your wedding day - I'll be there dancing in the rain with you (and photographing it all)
