John and Abbie’s Evergreen, Colorado engagement session had everything you could want for a mountain adventure—towering pine trees, golden-hour light, and those iconic Rocky Mountain views. Their daughter joined in, so we kept things playful with interactive prompts, games, and plenty of laughter to keep her entertained (and to keep the photos natural and full of personality). The result? Beautiful engagement photos that perfectly blends candid family moments with romantic, mountain-vista magic.

Rocky Mountain National Park Elopement

This Rocky Mountain National Park winter elopement was straight out of a snow globe. These two exchanged vows at Sprague Lake surrounded by fresh snow and stunning views of Longs peak, popped champagne at the iconic 3M Curve, and ended the night with jaw-dropping astro photos under the stars at Bear Lake. From cozy vows to cosmic portraits, this winter elopement in RMNP shows just how magical (and badass) saying “I do” in the snow can be.

This fall micro wedding at The Summit in Woodland Park had all the cozy mountain vibes and none of the stress. 🍂 With the dream team—Wild Social Micro Weddings and the Wandering Wagon Bars — this micro wedding that was equal parts heartfelt and badass. Picture jaw-dropping views, killer food, delicious craft cocktails, the best dance floor vibes, and a day that felt more like an unforgettable weekend getaway with your favorite humans than a “traditional” wedding. Now that’s how you say “I do.”

Crested Butte Engagement Photos

Season: Summer

Nothing says Colorado summer like wildflowers in full bloom—and Crested Butte is basically the crown jewel. I spent an entire weekend camping with these two lovebirds, documenting their engagement story as we hiked to alpine lakes, wandered through dreamy meadows, and soaked up those jaw-dropping mountain views. We wrapped it all up with a cozy s’mores session by the fire (sticky fingers and all). Oh, and their two pups tagged along—good thing posing with fur babies is kinda my superpower.

Crested Butte Elopement

Season: Summer

This Crested Butte elopement was wild, romantic, and 100% true to the couple. They wanted their day to feel intimate and intentional, so when outside opinions started creeping in, I stepped up as their hype-woman and set some firm boundaries (read: told the “guests of honor” to kindly get fucked). And then—because Colorado loves drama—the skies opened up. The downpour turned their vows into Nicholas Sparks-level magic, with rain-soaked kisses, belly laughs, and the kind of photos you can literally feel when you look back on them. If you’ve ever wondered whether a rainy Colorado mountain elopement can still be perfect, the answer is hell yes.

This fall micro wedding at Blackstone Rivers Ranch was pure fairytale vibes. The couple got ready in Blackhawk before transporting to a whole other world. With golden aspens glowing all around, this couple tied the knot (literally) with a hand-fasting ceremony that felt straight out of a romantasy. Between the intimate mountain setting, cozy fall colors, and heartfelt vows, to say their day was magical is an understatement. An added bonus? This venue has lodging right down the street at Water & Stone Retreat ANNNDD it's super close to the OG Beau Jo's Pizza in Idaho Springs!

This engagement session was golden-hour magic from start to finish. We hiked, laughed, and even crossed paths with a moose (because apparently Colorado wanted to photobomb - not that we're complaining!). Midway through, a little wardrobe malfunction tried to crash the party—but don’t worry, I had it handled. Between some quick on-site problem solving and a little Photoshop wizardry, you’d never even know it happened. The result? A gallery that’s equal parts adventure, romance, and the kind of “only us” moments you’ll never forget. The best part? These cuties are getting hitched at The Flagstaff House in Boulder in September! Breckenridge Sunrise Elopement

Season: Summer

This Blue Lakes elopement styled shoot will always have a special place in my heart—it was the very first elopement-style session I ever photographed. Between the alpine lakes, wild mountain views, and the raw magic of documenting love in the outdoors, it lit the fire for everything I do now. These photos were taken before Blue Lakes stopped allowing elopements, which makes them feel even more special. Looking back, I can see just how much I’ve grown in my art and client experience since then, but this session will always be the one that started it all.

Th e Greenbriar Inn Micro Wedding

Season: Fall

This micro wedding at The Greenbriar Inn was one for the books—and one of my favorite couples of all time. Nick & Elena wanted their wedding day to be about celebrating with their people, not hours of photos, so I worked fast to capture portraits and then got out of their way so they could party. Their golden-hour vow exchange started with “Dearest gentle reader…” (cue my Bridgerton-obsessed heart screaming), while they promised forever, their loved ones participated with a ring-warming ceremony, (a sweet Irish tradition) and packed their cocktail hour with fun, interactive moments that had every guest grinning. And just when I thought the day couldn’t get better—SURPRISE cannoli’s. Truly the perfect ending to the most joyful day. As the Italians say, Cent’anni! (May you live 100 years).
